A few weeks ago we sent out a survey asking for input on the kinds of videos our clients and prospects would find most valuable as a way to keep their remote team members connected in this time of self-isolation.
Here is what we've built, based on the results of that survey, and our experience with employee communications over the years. The kit consists of five (5) pre-built VideoGuide templates, and is designed to make it easy for Leadership and Team Members to use video to stay connected with video, without having to use live-video tools, like Zoom or Google Hangouts.
Because these VideoGuides are pre-built, it's a simple matter of customizing the output design with your company logo and colors to get you up and running.
STORYVINE REMOTE WORKING KIT

Average Length: 2-5 Minutes
Members of Leadership are guided to share the state of the business, group, or project. The recorded segments include: INTRODUCTION, RESULTS, NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS, and PERSON/TEAM ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. The Leader can enter a Title or Topic, and time period (e.g., 1st Quarter, etc.) which will display on the title card of the finished video.
1-3 MINUTE VIDEO UPDATE – “What's happening. What it means. What's Next.”
Average Length: 30-90 Seconds
Members of both Leadership and Teams are guided to provide an update, its impact and next steps. The recorded segments include: INTRODUCTION, WHAT'S HAPPENING, WHAT IT MEANS, and WHAT'S NEXT. A Pulldown Menu allows user to select the type of update they are sharing, (e.g., Company, Team, Project, Important, News, etc.) as well as provide a Title or Topic which will display on the title card of the finished video.
30 SECOND VIDEO UPDATE – “Here's a Quick Update.”
Average Length: 30-60 Seconds
Members of both Leadership and Teams are guided to easily make & share a short "Video Note." The recorded segments include: INTRODUCTION, and QUICK UPDATE. A Pulldown Menu allows user to select the type of update they are sharing, (e.g., Company, Team, Project, Important, News, etc.) as well as provide a Title or Topic which will display on the title card of the finished video.
TEAM MEMBER INTRODUCTION – “Who I am, What I'll be Doing & A Fun Fact About Me.”
Average Length: 1-3 Minutes
Members of Leadership are guided to share the state of the business, group, or project. The recorded segments include: INTRODUCTION, BEFORE THIS ROLE, WHAT I'LL BE DOING, A FUN FACT. Their Name, Role & Location can be entered as appropriate, and will display on the title card of the finished video.
SHARE AN IDEA, INNOVATION OR WHITEBOARD – “Where's an Idea, The Problem it Solves, and What's Next.”
Average Length: 1-3 Minutes
Team Members or Leaders are guided to share an innovative idea with their team or the company at large. The recorded segments include: INTRODUCTION, PROBLEM THAT NEEDS SOLVING, YOUR IDEA/SOLUTION, RESULTS or NEXT STEPS. Person's Name/Role and the Name of the Idea can be entered as appropriate, and will display on the title card of the finished video.
